• Since 1999, I was not registered to vote until my wife filled out a card for me so I would vote in the 2004 presidential election.  I voted by absentee ballot
  • Sometimes I check my own blog expecting to see something new
  • Sometimes I think I should have studied computer science instead of chemistry

  • I think graduate school has created a false reality for me where deadlines are soft, regular working hours don’t matter, LA traffic does not exist and the brightest people in the country make less than the guy sweeping the floor
  • Days when I don’t drink coffee never really start for me
  • From April to July, I averaged 2 hours of video game play per day

I hope that the Mac you secretly look forward to buying is a PowerBook for me!

There are a number of possibilites. A powerbook, a beefy G5 for video editing or maybe a Mac Mini just because its cheap and Mac’ed up. I am really interested in the new Intel processor based Macs that should be coming out in a year or so. Those will be able to boot into MacOS X and Windows. Then one computer can do it all.

I like that you are writing more, and that you were honest with yourself. At some point, I would reccomend a detox. I know that we have talked about you coming off coffee, it just does something to you that is fundamental and amazing. See you tomorrow, and get ready to put you Halo2 game face on.
