Future spook

Yesterday, my sweet and understanding wife allowed me to indulge my taste for video games for a couple of hours even after the kids woke from naptime. Connor came in to watch me play Splinter Cell: Double Agent for a while. In this game, you play Sam Fisher, a NSA dark ops agent. He sneaks around spying and has cool toys like night vision goggles and lock picks. Connor enjoyed watching and I let him watch as I swam around under water in the artic ocean. Later he wanted to dress up like “the man from that game.” Below is the result:

I love his imagination. Now, I hope I can keep him from sneaking around in the dark and spying on terrorists.

lol… that is awesome! If I turned around and saw him creeping up on me, I would be scared!

It reminds of you at that age – but you were the Incredible Hulk! You ran around roaring and knocking things around in the toy room. You also dressed up as Superman, complete with an orange pillow case for your cape. I know you’ve seen those pictures. Isn’t it amazing how kids think they really ARE those characters just by putting on a pillow case or, in Connor’s case, his Softie and a pair of sunglasses!

so much fun! it reminds me of nancie sawyer’s little brother who would become a ninja when he put a pair of underwear on his head.
