I just followed a link to this device that will burn water. Well, actually it uses hydrolysis to split water into the component hydrogen and oxygen atoms then ignites them. The only emission from this (assuming you used distilled water) is water vapor. This reminds me of high school when I would talk about how cars would run on water someday. (I bet Ryan remembers, too). I suppose that may not happen soon but with hydrogen based fuel cells under development, we probably are not far from a hydrogen fueled economy.
